Arrival
The arrival is possible either from Zambia (Livingstone), Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) or at Kasane or Maun airport in Botswana. You will meet our guide with staff there, and drive around the town to buy your personal belongings you haven’t brought with from home. After that we’ll start our way to Chobe National Park.
Day 1 - Chobe national park, Serondela river front
Botswana’s Chobe national park is famous for it's enormous elephant herds. You will enjoy a boat cruise down the Chobe river, look also for hippos, crocodile and water birds, enjoying 2 activities in total (nature drives with 1 boat cruise for the one night stay along the Chobe river front, then drive to Savuti).
Day 2 - Savuti
You will drive to Savuti to enjoy the historic rock paitings and predator diversity of Savuti at Savuti marsh. The arrival is in the afternoon, you will refresh and head out for an afternoon nature drive to the Bushman rock paitings. You’ll conduct 2 nature safari drives in Savuti before making your way to Okavango delta, on the following day.
Day 3 - Okavango delta
A maze of channels and lagoons sustain a profusion of wildlife of this area. You are going to explore the constantly shifting marsh by mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, to observe wildlife at eye level. You will look out for rare birds, like the endangerd Pel's fishing owl, as well sa water adapted antelopes like sitatunga, which is endemic to the Okavango delta, and the red lecwe, browsing in the grades. You’ll experience mokoro and nature drive.
Day 4 – End of safari
You are going to enjoy full English breakfast and then depart to the target airport, which can be either in Zambia (Livingstone), Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) or Maun airport, to connect with either air Botswana, SA airlink or other flight connection or your following program in Africa.
