If you arrive in at Maun international airport, that's when you will start from Kazikini - going north, as described in this itinerary. If you arrive in from Zambia or Zimbabwe, then you will start from the opposite direction at Mwandi view camp along the Chobe river front.
In the point of arrival, you are welcomed by your expedition safari guide. He will provide you with nice smile, cool face towels and chilled drinking water for each guest.
The expedition guide will brief you about where you will be heading next for your experience in the bush, but before that you will have to drive around the town to buy personal things you did not bring from home, like sunglasses, sunblock and so on, then drive to your first destination.
